Friends, romans, countryman lend me your...mom?..wait thats not right..ears? yea ears! anyway so another day at PJC...another day of torcher..another day of acting awake in class while i sleep with my head in my hands. Ive perfected it to an art i think. Except eventually my hands will go numb or one teach always spots me. One totally called me out today. Too bad i woke up and answered the question..
- Teacher says
"why do you change i.v. tubing every 24hrs? Lets pick on Austin since hes paying attention."
- With my head still looking down, eyes closed i mumble out
"cause crap will grow in it"
- Teacher says
"Correct"
Ahhhhh....burns doesn't it..Nothing better than stickin' it to the man. Just when they try and put you down, you gotta flip the script on em.. ANYWAY...so I discovered the new Black Eyed Peas CD today. Anyone else heard it? Way more techno than previous albums but none the less still "jammable".BTW if you have trouble finding music heres some suggestions:
- Grooveshark <----click
Pretty awesome site honestly. You can type in any musical artist (almost) and get a listing of songs and albums. You can access their music w/o copyright infringement. Pretty sweet huh? And you don't even have to download software and bogg your computer down. You don't download the music necessary, you just listen to it. (9/10) site in my opinion.
- Vuze <----click
Okay, Vuze is a bit different. It's a bit like Limewire but instead of downloading individual songs (and the occasional virus that kills your laptop indefinitely) you're able to download whole albums @ once. Pretty sweet IMO but i wouldn't recommend illegal downloading to anyone ;)BUT in the case of you maybe being a rebel and doing it anyway, I would recommend putting them on an exterior hard-drive so as to not bogg your system down.
Another band that just released another album thats pretty good is Alterbridge. Anyone ever heard of Creed? Well it's the band Creed w/ a different singer. They're pretty awesome in my opinion. Check em out here
Let me know what you think!! until next time..
ever thought about working for a magazine or newspaper?..
